ST. LOUIS (Feb. 26, 2026) – Archview ER & Hospital celebrated the significant milestone of opening the first Nutex Health micro-hospital in Missouri with a community ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, Feb. 19, at the facility located at 1320 N Jefferson Ave in North St. Louis.
The grand opening celebration, which began at 9 a.m., welcomed about 100 community members, including staff, residents, local police and fire units, who brought their emergency response vehicles. Also, the event featured speeches by hospital leadership, Mayor Cara Spencer, and Marvin Steele, President and CEO of the Heartland St. Louis Black Chamber of Commerce, recognizing the advancement in local medical care.
“Our grand opening was a powerful moment for our nurses, providers, staff, and community. I am incredibly proud of the team we’ve built and the culture of safety, respect, and compassion we are creating,” said Karen Johnson, MBA, BSN, RN, Chief Nursing Officer at Archview ER & Hospital. “We are proud to offer comprehensive emergency and inpatient services with little to no wait times, delivering timely, high-quality care close to home. The opening of the 16,000-square-foot facility expands local access to a micro-hospital emergency room equipped with inpatient capabilities, an on-site laboratory, and advanced diagnostic technology. Patients can expect convenient, comfortable, and personalized care, including short wait times and meaningful one-on-one time with a physician.
